The archived version of the tweet can be seen here.

Fact

Newschecker ran a reverse image search of keyframes of the video, which led us to this Youtube video, dated December 25, 2019, from Hello Uttarakhand News. The headline, translated from Hindi, read, “CAA, NRC clash: Slogans raised ‘Delhi Police lath bajao, we are with you’, video goes viral”, indicating that it was not related to the ongoing farmer protests. Another Youtube video, dated December 27, 2019, can be seen here, where we learnt that a rally was taken out in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Haryana.

Similar videos can be seen here and here, confirming the viral video predates the current farmers’ stir. A Lokmat report, dated December 27, 2019, sharing the video, states that a rally was taken out in support of CAA in Haryana.
