Fact

A reverse image search of a keyframe from the viral clip led us to the same video posted on the official YouTube channel of India Today on May 5, 2022. 

According to the report, the former Amravati MP broke down after seeing her husband MLA Ravi Rana at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The political duo were arrested for threatening to recite the Hanuman Chalisa outside ‘Matoshree,’ which is the official residence of former chief minister Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray and were seen having an emotional reunion after spending 12 days in jail.

Other news outlets like CNN-News18, ABP Live and Zee 24 Taas also published the same video and with similar information.

Thus it is clear that the emotional video of the BJP’s Navneet Rana is not recent but from 2022.
