Fact
Newschecker ran a keyword search for “CBSE results May 11”, which led us to multiple news reports stating that a notice in circulation regarding the declaration of 10th, 12th results is fake. The reports can be seen here, here and here.
According to NDTV, the letter featured a fake signature of CBSE’s director Joseph Emmanuel, adding that CBSE officials have clarified that the letter is not genuine as they never release the dates in advance.
These reports led us to this tweet by CBSE, dated May 10, labelling the viral circular as fake.
