Several social media users claimed that OTT platform Hotstar bagged the streaming rights for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, defeating billionaire Mukesh Ambani in an auction organised by the Reliance Industries chairman himself. Newschecker found it to be a satire article uploaded by satirical web portal Fauxy.

Ahead of the US Presidential Polls, a video of President Joe Biden purportedly narrating an anecdote about a “magical pistachio” helping him find his way out of a grocery store has surfaced online. Newschecker, however, found the video to be a deepfake.
