Fact

On Examining the video, we found a logo ‘Brave India.’ Taking this as a clue, we did a keyword search and found the video from the YouTube channel, Facebook page, and Instagram page of the online portal ‘Brave India’ dated July 25, 2024. The caption of the YouTube says “Oh god this is what we are taking in || BRAVE INDIA EXCLUSIVE.”

The description further says, “Worm-infested fish caught from various markets in Kochi.”

We also found reports in Kerala Kaumudi on July 25,2024 and KairaliNews Online  on July 24, 2024 also of raids conducted in Palluruthy Market in Kochi.

Hence, we find that the video shows cops crackdown on stale fish being sold in a fish market in Kochi, not fish stuffed with tablets that cause kidney failure.
