Newschecker ran a reverse image search of keyframes, which led us to this Facebook post sharing the same video, dated June 12, 2022, uploaded by the BAZ News Agency.

“A huge fire consumes 18 buses at the central station in Safed, Tel Aviv,” read the post, translated from Arabic. A similar Facebook post can be seen here, dated June 12, 2022, with the headline, translated from Hebrew, reading, “Nearly 20 buses catch fire at the central station in Safed…”.

We came across several news reports on the blaze, stating that around 18 buses caught fire at the Central Bus Station in the city of Safed in the Northern District of Israel.

“City residents reported that loud explosions were heard while others woke up in fear that it was a missile attack… The circumstances surrounding the fire are still under investigation, but the Safed municipality said that it was a criminal incident,” read the Jerusalem Post, dated June 12, 2022.

“Eighteen buses were destroyed when they were torched in the early hours of Saturday morning in the northern city of Safed, in a suspected attack linked to criminal demands for the payment of protection money,” read a Times of Israel article, dated June 11, 2022, which confirms that the video is not related to the recent series of escalating attacks in the years-long conflict between Israel and Iran and its Arab allies.
