Visual Inconsistencies Suggest AI Manipulation

Newschecker observed several visual anomalies in the viral video such as the child’s legs appearing unnaturally blurred, and the dust clouds around the cow’s feet lacking consistent texture, sometimes disappearing entirely. Such inconsistencies are typical of AI-generated visuals.

A reverse image search of key frames led to a clearer version of the video uploaded to YouTube by @aloisionaroca on October 28, 2025. The description, translated from Portuguese, read, “A cow protected by a boy #sora [OpenAI’s AI video-generating model] #shorts,” with a disclaimer stating that it is altered/synthetic content.

AI-Detection Tools Confirm Synthetic Origin

To verify authenticity, Newschecker tested the clip using Hive Moderation’s AI detection tool, which concluded there was a 97.6% likelihood that the video was AI-generated or deepfaked.

Further, Newschecker consulted the Deepfakes Analysis Unit (DAU), whose experts ran multiple frame analyses using leading AI-detection platforms:

• WasItAI: “Highly confident this image was created by AI.”
• AI or Not: “Likely AI-generated.”
• IsItAI: Determined the visuals to be AI-created.
• ImageWhisperer: Rated the image as “highly likely AI-generated.”

These independent assessments consistently confirm that the viral video is synthetic content.
