Newschecker noticed that the photos seemed overly glossy, while the background is blurry, all signs pointing towards AI-generated imagery.

We ran the image past Hive Moderation, an AI-image detection tool, which found it “99.4% likely to contain AI-generated or deepfake content”.
The IsitAI? tool, too, determined the image to be highly likely (81%) AI-generated.
