Fact
Video is from 2016, taken during the shooting of ‘Fast And Furious 8’ in Cleveland.
Several social media users are circulating a video showing cars falling from a tall building, purportedly pushed by rioters in France, which is currently seeing violent and fiery protests across Paris and other cities in the wake of the fatal police shooting of a teenage boy.
Violence Erupts In France
Violent unrest erupted in Nanterre, France, following the shooting of a 17-year-old driver by a police officer during a routine traffic check on Tuesday (June 27) morning — an incident caught on video. Nearly 1,000 people have been arrested across France after a fourth night of rioting, which has seen demonstrations in Marseille, Lyon, Grenoble and some parts of Paris. The death of Nahel Merzouk, reportedly of Algerian descent, appears to have become a flashpoint for anger about racial inequality in France and claims of police discrimination.

We then came across this The Mirror report, dated June 4, 2016, stating that The Fast and Furious crew have filmed one of their most explosive scenes ever for their then latest movie — Fast 8, scheduled for an April 2017 release.

Then — almost out of nowhere — four vehicles plummet from a multi-story car park across the street,” read the report, which confirms that the viral video is of the same scene.
