Fact

Newschecker did a reverse image search of keyframes, which led us to the same video on Instagram, uploaded by @sanskritsparrow on June 6, 2024.

The above content is a dubbed voice over. This was not announced on any flight. This does not have anything to do with @akasaair management,” read the description, clearly showing that it was edited. We learnt that the account was run by Bengaluru-based Samashti Gubbi, 23, a Sanskrit scholar with a vision to promote the language and founder of Sthaayi, an online production company that makes films, plays, music and podcasts in Sanskrit

A further search also led us to this clarification by Akasa Air on X, dated June 13, 2024, replying to a user who posted the viral video, which confirmed that the viral video was dubbed.
