Fact

We looked up the official website of the Aam Aadmi Party to ascertain the educational qualifications of Raghav Chadha. According to the AAP website, “Raghav is a Chartered Accountant and has completed his undergraduate degree from University of Delhi.”

The same was listed as his educational qualification in the official portal of the Government of India.

But Did He Study At The LSE?

A keyword search for “Raghav Chadha” and “London School Of Economics” yielded a blog post in the official website of the institute stating that Chadha “completed his studies at the London School of Economics.”

Furthermore, multiple news reports state that the Rajya Sabha MP did an EMBA course from the London School of Economics. Though LSE, in partnership with the New York University Stern School of Business and HEC Paris Business School, does provide an executive MBA course, we were not independently able to ascertain which programme Chadha opted for.

What About Parineeti Chopra?

A Hindustan Times report dated February 5, 2023, stated, “Actor Parineeti Chopra was named among India’s top 75 young achievers in the UK and was honoured as a University of Manchester alumna.”

Furthermore, a post in the news section of the University of Manchester website quoted Chopra as saying, “Life has come full circle and I’m so glad to be back where it all started! Having studied at Manchester Business School, to be able to come back, receive this award and celebrate it at the UK Parliament is such an incredible, special feeling.”

In 2015, Chopra told Mumbai Mirror how she turned to acting despite attending a business school. Though she discussed at length about her time at the Manchester Business School, the actor never mentioned studying at the LSE.
