This video highlights the performance of three talented Russian gymnasts as they participated in the 2010 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships. These three gymnasts are Aigul Shaikhutdinova, Ekaterina Stroynova, and Ekaterina Loginov. And they are not related with family connections to each other. Viral claim is False.
As the Asian Games in China is going on, various claims related to sports have gone viral on social media. Recently a video of three talented gymnasts went viral with false claims. The claim states that – Three generations of Russian Gymnasts performing are Grandmother, mother & daughter. The viral post can be viewed by clicking here.

Fact Check / Verification
In order to ascertain the fact of the viral video, we conducted a Google reverse image search. During this process, we came across many old video links that show us the video is from Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships 2010.
The Russian team won the best title in the tournament.
We also got a number of pictures of the three players on the popular website IMAGO. During this search, we obtained the names of these three athletes mentioned in the video and the details of the three athletes Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships 2010, respectively, of Aigul Sheikhutdinova, Ekaterina Stroynova, and Ekaterina Loginov. Accordingly, Ekaterina Stroynova was born in 1987. Aigul Shaikhutdinova was born in 1994, and Ekaterina Loginov was born in 1985.

Based on the available information, it is highly improbable that the relationship between the three players in the video could be that of a grandmother, mother, and daughter. Furthermore, there is no mention of any family relationship between these three players in official sources such as the International Gymnastic Federation website and other news outlets.
Conclusion
According to information obtained in Newschecker’s investigation, the viral video falsely asserts a family relationship between three female athletes in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Contrary to the claim, there is no familial connection between them, such as a grandmother, mother, and daughter relationship. These three athletes were part of the Russian women’s Acrobatic Gymnastics team, and the viral video in question is from as far back as 2010. Therefore, the viral claim is unequivocally inaccurate and unsubstantiated.
