Fact Check/Verification
A reverse image search on the keyframes of the viral clip led us to an X post by journalist Saurabh Koratkar (@saurabhkoratkar), dated April 29, 2025. Carrying the same video, it stated, “A fight breaks out in Bhavani Peth, Pune, over a trivial reason of honking a car horn. Stones thrown by one person… (translated from Marathi via Google)”

Detailing the incident, a report by Lokmat Times stated that the dispute started when one Harsh Keshwani honked while passing through a narrow lane. Angered by the same, Shoaib Umar Saiyyad, who had parked his auto-rickshaw and was unloading goods at the spot, allegedly abused and assaulted Harsh.
Harsh with his other family members later returned to confront Saiyyad, but were attacked again by the accused and his associates. A case was filed at Pune’s Khadak Police Station, and Saiyyad was arrested after the incident.

Multiple other outlets such as this, this and this too reported on the incident, corroborating that the dispute began over honking.
Newschecker then reached out to Senior Inspector Shashikant Chavan from Khadak Police Station, who refuted the viral claim and confirmed that the incident happened over honking.
We also accessed the FIR filed in the matter, which too did not mention anything related to Pakistan.
