No, This Video Does Not Show India’s Recent Drone Strike On Lahore

A recent video shows Indian drone attacking a location in Lahore.

A Google Lens search on the keyframes of the viral video led us to a YouTube post by @breakingbadsm, dated April 30, 2025. It featured the longer version of the viral clip, stating, “Kharkov – the moment of arrival of one of the “Geraniums” during the processing of the objects of the Ukrainian Wehrmacht (translated from Russian via Google).”

We also found the video was shared in an article by Pravda on April 30, 2025, stating, “Strike of the Geranium UAV on a target in Kharkov”. 

The video was also shared on Telegram channel @ChDambiev on April 30, 2025. 

Notably, the Indian authorities on May 8, 2025, notified, “Today morning, Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems at a number of locations in Pakistan. Indian response has been in the same domain with the same intensity as Pakistan. It has been reliably learnt that an Air Defence system at Lahore has been neutralised”

We were not able to ascertain other details of the video. However, we could conclude that it predates the heightened escalation between India and Pakistan following Operation Sindoor.
