Fact

A keyword search for “Dainik Bhaskar, Lok Sabha Polls,” and “survey” on Google led us to articles by the outlet  detailing results of its “Meri Vote, Meri Marzi” survey. It was conducted from April 1 to April 6 in 308 Lok Sabha constituencies.

The survey focussed on two major aspects. Firstly “What is the biggest issue for the respondents who want to vote, and what are their demands from their future MP?” Secondly, “Why does a respondent don’t want to vote, and what is the biggest problem in their area?”

The outlet has so far released two analytical reports on the conclusions from its survey, none of which shows any such lead to I.N.D.I bloc. These reports can be seen here and here.

On carefully analysing the image, we noticed “Bhopal,” and “April 13, 2024” mentioned in the date/place line.

We then looked up Dainik Bhaskar’s Bhopal issue on April 13, 2024, and found that its front page did not carry any such survey results.

Furthermore, in an X post, dated April 13, 2024, Dainik Bhaskar has clarified that the viral image showing I.N.D.I bloc leading in 10 states as per the news outlet’s survey is fake.

We could thus conclude that the viral image claiming that Dainik Bhaskar-Nielsen survey has predicted that the I.N.D.I bloc is leading in 10 states is fabricated.
