A viral video circulating shows a man dressed as a Hindu priest, wearing a saffron scarf and tilak, allegedly eating non-vegetarian food during Navratri. Social media posts claim the man is Mohammad Idrish, a Muslim trying to insult Sanatan Dharma, and that he has been arrested.
Sharing that clip on X handle, a user wrote, “Breaking __ Mohammad Idrish — the man who dressed like a Hindu Guru and filmed himself eating non-veg during Navratri to insult Sanatan Dharma — has been ARRESTED. This is not “freedom of expression.” It was a deliberate provocation against crores of Hindus. Sanatan will not tolerate mockery of our sacred festivals.” (The archived link of the post can be seen here.)

The viral video does not show a Muslim man disguised as a Hindu priest. It features Mahesh Upreti, a Nepali comedian, performing in a scripted video.
