On reverse image search of the screenshots in the video, found the original posted on Adithya Suresh’s Facebook page from October 20, 2020.
When we scanned through the page we found a response by Adithya Suresh to a user who asked if he was the grandson of SPB. In his response, Adithya clarified that he was not the grandson of SPB. In another post in June 12, 2020, he once again clarified that he is not the grandson of SPB.
When we did a relevant keyword search, we found that Adithya Suresh is a popular child singer from Kollam, Kerala.
He had been diagnosed with ‘Brittle Bone’ disease by birth which he overcame to embark on his musical journey.
We also found a Facebook post from February 17, 2022, where Adithya Suresh is seen along with his parents.
We also ran a keyword search to get family pictures of SPB with his family including grandsons and found that none of those seen in the photograph bear any resemblance to the boy in the viral video. Thus, we concluded that the boy singing in the video is child singer Adithya Suresh, and not the grandson of the late singer SPB.
