Old, Unrelated Video Of Nancy Pelosi Shared As Her Reaction To Trump’s Victory

“There’s no point in saying good morning because it certainly is not one,” says former Speaker of the US House of Representatives and Democrat Nancy Pelosi, following Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections.

Newschecker ran a reverse image search, which led us to the same video shared on X on June 24, 2022, confirming that it was not after the 2024 elections.

A further search led us to this Deadline article, dated June 24, 2022, stating that the then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attacked the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling overturning Roe V Wade. “There’s no point in saying good morning, because it certainly is not one,” Pelosi told reporters on Capitol Hill, as she called the ruling “cruel “,”outrageous and heart-wrenching.”

Similar reports can be seen here and here, confirming that 84-year-old Pelosi, a California Democrat, was blasting the Supreme Court’s ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that established a constitutional right to an abortion.
