Fact

Newschecker began by conducting a keywords search on Google for the terms ‘NDTV poll of polls’ and  ‘Telangana Assembly’, but the search threw up no relevant results. We then  conducted a similar search on social media platform X, where we did not find any such poll of polls, but instead found a post by the official handle of NDTV calling the viral graphics fake.

The assembly elections of the southern state is scheduled on November 30 and the results will be declared on December 3, 2023. The exit polls are held after the elections are over and NDTV, in its poll of polls, compares the exit poll projections that have been put out by various agencies and gives an average projection. The exit polls are due this Thursday, November 30, at 6:30PM, and no such exit polls or poll of polls are out yet.
