A video of the incident, which took place in Dhanarua block in state’s capital Patna, has been posted on social media where it is going viral.”

ANI tweeted about the incident on July 7, saying that the tuition teacher, Amarkant Kumar, was arrested for brutally thrashing a six-year-old student.

Newschecker did a keyword search of the term “Bihar classroom assault”, “Patna teacher student”, which led us to reports across various websites, including the Hindustan Times, Times of India, among others.
