Newschecker noticed that several users pointed out that the video was from a water park in India.
A further search led us to this TikTok post, dated January 17, 2025, sharing a longer version of the viral video, stating that it shows Blueworld Water Park in India.
Similar posts sharing the video can be seen here and here, stating that it is from India. Also, we looked up Canada’s Wonderland Instagram page where we did not find any such site, even in its water park, Splash Works.
Taking a cue, we ran a relevant keyword search that led us to the Instagram post by Blue World Park Kanpur, dated May 23, 2025. A comparison of screengrabs of the Tiktok video (right) with the Instagram post (left) confirm that it is the same amusement and theme park in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
