Protesting farmer unmoved after being hit by a water cannon used to stop the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march that started on February 13, 2024.

Fact

Newschecker ran a reverse image search of keyframes of the video, which led us to this 9GAG post, featuring the same video, dated November 28, 2020, stating that a Punjabi farmer was hit by a water cannon at a peaceful protest in Delhi.

We found similar posts here, here and here, from November-December 2020, further confirming that the viral video is not from the recent protests.

We learnt that in November 2020, farmers from Punjab, Haryana, and elsewhere travelled to the outskirts of Delhi and camped there till the three farm laws, against which they were protesting, were repealed in 2021.
