Newschecker discovered that the video actually shows Le Pen laughing during a radio show in March 2017.

As rains wreak havoc in Mumbai, social media platforms saw a spate of unverified visuals showing massive inundation in the city, and other impacts of rainfall. Newschecker investigated one such video and found it to be old and unrelated to the current bout of rainfall in Mumbai.

Several social media users claimed that OTT platform Hotstar bagged the streaming rights for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, defeating billionaire Mukesh Ambani in an auction organised by the Reliance Industries chairman himself. Newschecker found it to be a satire article uploaded by satirical web portal Fauxy.

Viral Video Of US President Joe Biden Talking About Magical Pistachio Is Actually Deepfake
Ahead of the US Presidential Polls, a video of President Joe Biden purportedly narrating an anecdote about a “magical pistachio” helping him find his way out of a grocery store has surfaced online. Newschecker, however, found the video to be a deepfake.
