Several social media users circulated a video, claiming that it shows a CNN director instructing the reporter and cameraman, who are covering the Israel-Hamas conflict, to pretend there’s been a rocket attack by Hamas and act as if they are running for shelter. Newschecker found that the audio in the viral clip was fabricated.

No, Ratan Tata Hasn’t Announced Rs 10 Cr For Afghanistan Cricketer Rashid Khan
A viral claim on social media suggests that Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan was reportedly fined Rs 55 lakh by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for displaying the Indian flag following a match against Pakistan and that in response, industrialist Ratan Tata has stepped forward and pledged 10 crores to cover for the fee. The viral claim was found to be fake with Tata himself debunking the claim.

Several social media users are circulating a video, claiming that ‘Jannat Certificates’ are being issued to mujahideen(terrorists) promising 72 hoor to them when they end their lives in the name of Jihad. Newschecker found that the video shows a PMLN supporter being given a certificate of Jannat for participating in a PMLN rally in Lahore.

Treatment Against Covid Vaccine? No, Viral Video Of Australian News Report Is Clipped
A viral news report states that “An Australian biotech company has developed a new treatment it hopes will prevent people dying from Covid vaccines.” Newschecker found that the video is of a 2021 news bulletin clipped before the anchor corrects herself to say Covid-19.

The Video Showing Dead Bodies Moving is from Egypt not Palestine
A 1.47-minute video is circulating on social media purportedly depicting dead bodies covered in white cloth. Users sharing the video allege that Palestinians in Gaza are staging deaths to gain international sympathy. The video seemingly shows moving bodies beneath the white sheets. Newschecker found that the video is 10 years old and shows a student protest in Egypt’s Al Azhar University.
