This week Indian social media witnessed a majority of misleading claims related to the ongoing farmers’ protests, COVID-19 vaccine, and Rs 2000 currency notes. Amid tensions between France and many Muslims countries after the murder of a French schoolteacher who showed cartoons of the Prophet in class, a misleading claim on Turkish President Erdogan ignoring French President Macron has gone viral.
