National Geographic Video? No, Video Of Shark Bringing Down A Helicopter Is From 2017 Movie

Claim

The video shows a sea creature attacking and bringing down chopper mid-air.

Fact

Former Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi shared the video on her social media accounts. Though on Twitter she clarified that the source of the video is “open and subject to verifications,” her Facebook post was devoid of any such disclaimer and simply said, “Watch It.”

Newschecker conducted Google reverse image search by using keyframes of the video shared by Bedi and found the clip was a part of a Sci-fi movie released in 2017 called ‘5 Headed Shark Attack.’
