On carefully analysing the social media posts sharing the purported opinion poll, we noticed discrepancies between the alleged survey data displayed in the video and the text claim accompanying it.
While the alleged opinion poll predicts 47 seats for the saffron party, followed by 17 seats for the incumbent AAP, and six for the Congress, the accompanying text claims 41-46, 17-22, and 1-2 for the parties respectively. Moreover, the alleged ABP News clip did not list the loss margin of the top AAP leader as mentioned in the text claim.
A keyword search for “ABP News,” and “Opinion Poll” and “Delhi” on Google did not yield any such video report on upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
We then looked up the official website of ABP News and YouTube channel, which did not carry any such opinion poll either. The official X handle of the outlet too did not share the alleged survey, predicting a massive edge from the BJP in the Delhi Polls.

Furthermore, we came across a report by the ABP News clarifying the alleged opinion poll is fake. An ABP News opinion poll predicting the BJP’s victory that has gone viral ahead of the Delhi elections is fake, the report stated.
In an X post, dated February 2, 2025, the outlet further clarified that the purported survey is fake. “No such opinion poll has been conducted by ABP News,” it stated.
A similar fake opinion poll attributed to the ABP News, forecasting a massive win for the BJP in the Delhi Polls, had gone viral in December 2024 as well.
Hence, the alleged ABP News Opinion Poll predicting a massive win for the BJP in the upcoming Delhi Elections was found to be fake.
