A Google lens search on the keyframes of the viral footage led us to a Facebook post by Daily Mail Sport, dated October 30, 2024. Carrying similar visuals of fire crackers, it stated, “SCENES at River Plate vs Atletico Minerio (Mineiro).”

River Plate and Atletico Mineiro are South American soccer clubs who faced each other for a semi-final match in an Argentina stadium during the Copa Libertadores tournament.
We found multiple similar visuals of a firecracker show at the stadium during the soccer match. Such videos can be seen here, here and here.
On comparing the keyframes of the viral video, claiming to show Diwali celebrations in Nagaland, with visuals from the Argentina stadium, we could conclude them to be the same.

Hence, a video from a soccer match in Argentina has been falsely shared to show Diwali celebrations in Nagaland.
