Fact Check/Verification

With the help of relevant keyword search , we performed Twitter advanced search. During our search, we came across a tweet which shows Rashtriya Janata Dal (RDJ) leader and Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav standing on the podium.

We found another tweet which also shows Tejashwi Yadav standing on the podium. The image also carries out a logo of ‘Bihar Live 7’.

We analyzed the YouTube handle of ‘Bihar Live 7’ and found a video  uploaded on October 21. The caption of the video reads,Tejashwi Yadav addressed an election rally in the favour of Jehanabad RJD’s Candidate Sujay Yadav.

Taking a cue from the caption, we performed a search on Youtube and found a live stream of the programme  on the official Youtube Channel of Rashtriya Janata Dal.

At Two minute 17 second, we found that Tejashwi Yadav was standing on the podium.

We analyzed the viral image and the live stream of the Tejashwi Yadav rally and found that the people standing on the right of the Tejashwi Yadav are the same.
