Claim

Kacha Badaam fame Bhuban Badyakar bagged a job with the Indian Railways as a train manager.

Post claims that Kacha Badaam fame Bhuban Badyakar bagged a job with the Indian Railways as a train manager.

Fact

In order to verify the veracity of the claim, Newschecker conducted several reverse image searches on the keyframes from the viral video and found a video posted by Instagram user ‘dailytravelhac1’ on his account” in December 2021, with the caption “When my Son was ready to go with Tejas Guard.”  We found the video uploaded by dailytravelhac1 and the one going viral with the claim to show Kacha Badaam singer Bhuban Badyakar as a railway manager, to be identical.

Newschecker reached out to dailytravelhac1 over email, who clarified that the man seen in the video is not Kacha Badaam singer Bhuban Badyakar. He told us, “That man is already working in Indian Railway as a guard (now train manager) from last 25 years (sic).” He added that the video was shot in October at his hometown, before Badyakar rose to fame.

In addition, we didn’t come across any news reports suggesting that Badyakar is now employed with the Indian Railways. Newschecker tried getting in touch with Badyakar himself, but could not get through. The article will be updated once his response is received.

Result: Fabricated Content/ False
