A Google Lens search on the keyframes of the viral clip led us to multiple social media posts from February 2025 carrying a longer version of the same footage, confirming that the video predates the tragic plane crash of June 12, 2025. Such posts, seen here, here and here, identified the video to be from Sheikh Ragheb Harb Hospital in Lebanon.
Notably, the watermark of the same hospital can be seen on the viral clip.
We then skimmed through the Instagram account of the Sheikh Ragheb Harb Hospital, and found a post from February 5, 2025, carrying a longer version of the now viral clip. The visuals purportedly depicted the repairing of the hospital complex after an attack.

The footage was also shared on their Facebook profile, stating, “The criminal entity wanted to shatter people’s hope for recovery, so the legendary steadfastness of the angels of mercy in Sheikh Ragheb Harb Hospital, may God be pleased with him, was achieved. It’s back to normal and we will continue to serve you with open arms (translated from Arabic via Google)”
Reports by October 2024 detailed instances of Israeli attack on the hospital, and its nearby areas.
We were not independently able to ascertain the exact date of the incident. However, the footage dates back to at least February 5, 2025, and, hence, is not linked to the recent aircraft tragedy in Ahmedabad.
While there have been tragic aircraft accidents in India, they have been largely low frequency and sporadic. According to DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) data (full data on Dataful), a total of 18 accidents occurred in India involving scheduled operators from 2011 to 2023. While there were years with 3 or 4 accidents (e.g., 2015, 2016, 2021), a significant portion of the years recorded zero or one accident (e.g., 2011-2014, 2017-2019, 2022-2023), indicating a generally consistent low incidence of accidents for this category of operators
