Fact

Newschecker noticed that the purported News24 graphic refers to Kejriwal as CM, indicating that it was well before the election held on February 5, 2025.

We then ran a reverse image search, which led us to the same News24 graphic posted by the official X account on Jul 15, 2024. “CM Kejriwal may go into coma, states AAP MP Sanjay Singh,” read the graphic in Hindi.

We then ran a relevant keyword search, which led us to multiple news reports on Singh criticising the claims made by Tihar prison authorities regarding Kejriwal’s health.

“A team of AIIMS doctors has been examining Arvind Kejriwal’s health, and they have found out that Kejriwal is losing weight fast and is suffering from hypoglycemia. His blood sugar level dropped below 50 mg/dL five times, which could have caused him to slip into a coma or even resulted in his death”, Sanjay Singh reportedly claimed. Similar reports can be seen here and here, further proving that the viral graphic is from July 2024 when the then Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was lodged in Tihar Jail in connection to the excise policy case.
