Claim
Singer Rihanna sported a Pentagram- a five-pointed star associated with Satanic worshipping during the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Fact
A closer look at the viral image revealed that the black “symbol” seen on her attire actually appears to have six spikes, while a Pentagram is a five-pointed star.
Further, a Google reverse image search on the viral photograph led us to a report by Vanity Fair dated February 12, 2023 titled ‘Rihanna Stuns Without Gimmicks During the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show.’
The report displayed a picture of Rihanna in the same attire as seen in the viral image.
We then skimmed through various photographs of Rihanna during her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show. One such report by TV Insider, dated February 12, 2023, carried a clearer image of the singer’s attire. On inspecting the same,we found that the alleged “Pentagram” on her dress was actually the buckle of a harness.
Another report by Vibe, dated February 13, 2023, featured a photograph clearly showing a harness wrapped around her waist.
Notably, Rihanna used a harness while she was performing on a platform placed above the ground, and took it off once the singer reached the stage on ground.
We could thus conclude that a quick release buckle on a harness tied around Rihanna’s waist while performing during the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show has been falsely identified as a Pentagram.
