Claim: Ronaldo and his wife spotted at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding bash.
Fact: The video is old and is from 2023 and does not show Ronaldo and his girlfriend arriving to take part in the pre-wedding bash of Ananta Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
Billionaires and who’s of who congregated in Jamnagar to attend the pre-wedding bash of Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani on March 1. The event was a lavish affair, including a stunning performance by Rihanna. Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Bollywood celebrities like Salman-Shah Rukh-Aamir, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji were amongst the many who attended the mega event.
Following this, a video featuring footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez walking into an event in formal attire, is currently circulating on social media. Those sharing that video claim that it showed the couple taking part in the celebrations. But Newschecker has found that the image is old and unrelated.

Fact Check/ Verification
A reverse image search of the keyframes of the video led us to an Instagram handle, named Cristiano.ronaldo7_ where we found the same video uploaded on October 29, 2023 with a caption, “Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina arriving for the Fury vs Ngannou fight.”
We found the same video on the X handle @TeamCRonaldo, uploaded on the same day, captioned, ” Cristiano Ronaldo & Georgina have arrived for the Tyson Fury Francis Ngannou fight”.
We then ran a keyword search on the internet with keywords “Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina arrived for the Fury vs Ngannou fight” which led us to a YouTube post by Republic World on October 29, 2023 which also relayed the same information.
Other news outlets like TNT Sports Boxing, DailyMail and Goal.com also published reports carrying the same information.
Georgina Rodríguez posted some images from the evening on her Instagram on October 29, 2023. The couple can be seen wearing the same attire in the images posted by Georgina.
Thus, we find that an old video of Ronaldo and his partner attending a boxing bout has been falsely shared as the footballer and his partner attending the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani.
