Fact
We skimmed through the comment section of @SakshiMalik’s tweet, and found a user pointing out that the video was actually from an OBC rally in Jaipur.
Taking a clue, we looked up “Jaipur,” and “OBC” on Twitter which yielded a post by @lalityadav901, dated September 30, 2022. The tweet carried a longer version of the footage shared by the wrestler, captioned “#jaipur #OBC_आरक्षण_बहाल_करो”
On September 30, 2022, multiple Twitter users had shared a longer version of the viral clip linking it to an OBC rally in Jaipur. Such posts can be seen here, here and here.

Reportedly, Congress MLA Harish Chaudhary had led protest under the banner of ‘OBC Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti’ in Jaipur on September 30, 2022 They had demanded the removal of discrepancies in the 21% reservation for the Other Backward Class (OBC) category in the state.
Notably, some users even claimed that the video does not show the OBC rally in Jaipur, but is from Surat.
Newschecker could not independently ascertain the actual location of the video. However, the video has been in circulation since at least September 30, 2022. It predates the ongoing wrestlers’ protest at Jantar Mantar, and hence is unrelated to it.
