Pakistan retaliates with a missile attack against India after the Indian armed forces early on Wednesday launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, striking nine terror targets in Pakistan, in response to the April 22 terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

Newschecker ran a reverse image search of keyframes of the 6-second video, which led us to a longer version of the viral video uploaded on Youtube on August 5, 2020, headlined “Explosion in Beirut, Lebanon.” The viral excerpt can be seen from the 00:21 mark. Similar posts sharing the video can be seen here, here and here, confirming it first surfaced online on August 5, 2020.
We then came across this The Mirror report, dated August 5, 2020, sharing a screengrab of the video, stating that video clips show white plume of smoke, which filled the sky above Beirut’s port area, before a huge fireball and blast wave sent cars toppling. A similar Financial Express report, dated August 7, 2020, featuring the screengrabs, can be seen here, confirming that the viral video is from the 2020 Beirut explosion. We learnt that the largest non-nuclear blast in modern history took place on August 4, 2020, at 6:07 PM in Beirut, Lebanon, after an estimated 2,750 tons of unsafely stored ammonium nitrate exploded in a port warehouse.
