Claim
Leaked photo of PM Modi fastening his watch inside an opulent residence.
Fact
Photo found to be AI generated.
Ahead of the Delhi Assembly Polls, the BJP and incumbent AAP have engaged in a war-of-words, accusing each other of extravagant expenditure on government residences. While the saffron party leaders targeted former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for building a “Sheesh mahal” for himself, the AAP countered it by alleging that PM Modi lived in a ” ‘Rajmahal’ worth ₹2,700 crores.”
As BJP-AAP intensifies political attacks, a purported photo of Narendra Modi fastening a wrist watch has gone viral on social media platforms, with users claiming it to be a “leaked image” from the Prime Minister’s home.
Several users shared the viral photo claiming, “leaked photo of Modi’s raj Mahal room which stores jewellery like chain and bracelet…. even 30 costly watches … total worth 72 crores in room for modi’s fashion.”
