A video of RSS carrying out a march in Haryana ahead of the state polls.
A Google lens search on the keyframes of the viral footage led us to an X post by @friendsofrss, dated October 7, 2022. Carrying a shorter version of the same clip, the post stated, “#RSSVijayadashami Path Sanchalan at Malappuram, Kerala.”
On carefully analysing the video, we were able to spot “Tanur” written on a display board installed at one end of the road. Further, we also spotted a hoarding of Chettinad Cement, and noticed words such as “co-operative,” “bank” written on another board.

Using these as clues, we were able to locate the place seen in the viral video in Kerala’s Tanur on Google Maps.
(L-R) Screengrab from viral video and Google Image
Hence, an old video from Kerala’s Tanur has been falsely shared to show the RSS march in Haryana ahead of the polls in the state.
