Fact

On carefully analysing the clip, we noticed that Owaisi was seen wearing a blue attire. He, however, attended the recent Parliamentary session on The Waqf Amendment Bill in a white attire

We also noticed the watermark of “AIMIM RR District” in the clip. Taking a clue, we skimmed through the Instagram handle of @aimim_rr_district, and found that the clip, along with other visuals of Owaisi in the Parliament, was uploaded on August 7, 2024.

Further, we also found the same clip around 4:46:55 hours in the live streaming of the Lok Sabha session of August 7, 2024, shared on YouTube by OdishaLIVE. In the live stream, it is clearly seen that Owaisi is merely rubbing his eyes, and not crying.

Hence, an old video has been falsely shared to show Asaduddin Owaisi crying in the Parliament over The Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
