False Claim Of 110 Muslim MPs Elected To Lok Sabha Goes Viral
Several social media users claimed that 110 Muslim candidates were elected as the MPs in the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections. However, Newschecker found the claim to be untrue. We found that while 78 Muslims contested the polls including Independents in this election, only 24 were elected to the Lok Sabha this year, two less than in 2019. Read more here.

Old Video Of Women Queuing Outside UP Bank Falsely Linked To Congress’ Poll Guarantee
Several social media users are circulating a video, mockingly stating that Muslim women are queuing up to receive ₹8,500 per month, promised under Rahul Gandhi’s “khatakhat scheme”. However, it dates back to April 2020, shows women standing in queue to withdraw money after being misled by rumours surrounding Jan Dhan accounts in UP. Read more here.

A video purportedly showing Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani launching his AI trading app, developed in partnership with Elon Musk’s team, is going viral on social media. Reasi Terror Attack: Civilians, Not Army Soldiers, Killed After Terrorists Opened Fire At Bus Carrying Pilgrims
Several social media users shared an image of men in military fatigue inspecting a bus, claiming that Indian army soldiers were killed in a recent terror attack at Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir.
