ਆਈਪੀਐਲ 2023 ਦੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੀਂਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਅਰ ਡਰਾਇਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਕਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਿਕ ਵਟਸਐਪ ਨੰਬਰ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਯੂਜ਼ਰ ਨੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਫੈਕਟ ਚੈੱਕ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ।

ਐਤਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਨੇ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ 2023 ਦੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਘਨ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਮੀਂਹ ਰੁਕ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਚੇਨਈ ਸੁਪਰ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਨੇ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਟਾਈਟਨਜ਼ ਨੂੰ 15 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਮਾਂਚਕ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਹਿਮਦਾਬਾਦ ਦੇ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ‘ਚ ਗਰਾਊਂਡ ਸਟਾਫ ਸਪੰਜ ਨਾਲ ਪਿੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਹੇਅਰ ਡਰਾਇਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਿੱਚ ਸੁਕਾਉਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਅਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਟ੍ਰੋਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਯੂਜ਼ਰਸ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਕਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਹਾਈਟੈਕ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।

ਗੂਗਲ ਰਿਵਰਸ ਸਰਚ ਕਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਤਸਵੀਰ 2020 ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਹਾਟੀ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦ ਕੁਇੰਟ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਖਬਰ ਮਿਲੀ , ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੋਟੋ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ। ਖਬਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਮੈਚ 5 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2020 ਨੂੰ ਗੁਹਾਟੀ ‘ਚ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਮੈਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਿੱਚ ਗਿੱਲੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗਰਾਊਂਡ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਕਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਡਰਾਇਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਈ। ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਾਮ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਟ੍ਰੋਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇੰਡੀਆ ਟੂਡੇ ਅਤੇ NDTV ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਖਬਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ । ਆਉਟਲੁੱਕ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਕਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਟੀਮ ਆਇਰਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਇੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਫੋਟੋ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਫੋਟੋ 2020 ਦੇ ਗੁਹਾਟੀ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ IPL ਫਾਈਨਲ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਸਪੰਜ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਕਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਉੱਠ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
