A video, apparently showing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal admitting to corruption by his party’s leaders in Punjab and receiving bribes is being widely shared on social media. According to the viral video, Kejriwal “admits” that he along with newly appointed Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other leaders in the state all ‘receive’ cut money from junior officers in the administration from the deals they “facilitate.” Newschecker found the video to be edited. Video Of Youth Climbing Mosque & Waving Saffron Flag Is Not From Karauli Violence

As videos and photographs relating to the Karauli violence inundate social media, a video showing a group of young men standing atop the ramparts of a mosque, waving saffron flags and chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’, is going viral on social media platforms. Several social media users shared the video online, identifying it as from Karauli. Newschecker found the video to be from UP’s Ghazipur as against Karauli violence as is being claimed. 22-Year-Old Killed For Not Speaking Urdu? No, Karnataka Home Minister Makes False Claim, Retracts It Later, Triggers Misinformation Online

Several news outlets reported that a 22-year-old in Bengaluru was killed for not speaking Urdu. And the one who gave it a stamp of legitimacy was none other than the Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, who said as much, and identified the victim as a dalit. Newschecker found that the Karnataka Home Minister made a wrong claim that a 22-year-old was killed for not speaking Urdu in Bengaluru. Viral Video Of A Brawl Breaking Out In Pakistan National Assembly Is From 2021

A video of Pakistani MPs fighting amongst themselves inside the Assembly hall is going viral on social media, claiming to show the latest visuals from the Pakistan National Assembly ahead of the no confidence motion against Imran Khan. In the video, an MP is being restrained while a fight breaks out between a group of people. Newschecker found the video to be old and unrelated to the current situation in Pakistan. Read more here.
