A Google keyword search for “Avi game” and “Anant Ambani” did not yield any credible results about any such game launched by the industrialist.
On carefully analysing the viral clip, we noticed the watermark of Business Today on the top left corner of the screen. We also spotted ‘Vantara’ written on the backdrop.
Taking a clue, we looked up keywords “Anant Ambani” and “Vantara” on the official YouTube channel of Business Today, which led us to a report dated February 26, 2024. Featuring a video of Ambani in the same attire, and identical background, it stated, “Anant Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries, discusses Vantara and its inception at the wildlife rescue center. He stated that Vantara was built at the peak of COVID.”
A comparison between keyframes of the viral clip with YouTube video by Business Today can be seen below.
We then checked a section of the video of AI detection tool Hive Moderation which concluded an aggregate 99.9% likelihood of the video containing AI generated or deepfake content.
AI audio detection platform Resemble.ai also found the audio heard in the video to be fake.
We also checked the video on ElevenLabs’ detector which concluded, “Very likely. It’s very likely (Probability 98%) that this audio was generated with ElevenLabs.”
On clicking the link mentioned in the post, we were directed to a website “https://india-ambani-game.lol.” It displayed a fabricated webpage of Google Play – the actual URL of the same is “https://play.google.com/”.
We then checked the URL “https://india-ambani-game.lol” on website Scam Detector which found it to be “Suspicious. Young. Untrustworthy”, and concluded a low score of 5.3 points.
The Deepfakes Analysis Unit (DAU) of the Misinformation Combat Alliance (MCA), of which Newschecker is a part, also analysed the clip and concluded, “original footage of Ambani was manipulated with synthetic audio to peddle a dubious gaming app in a bid to scam the public.”
Notably, the same video of Ambani talking about Vantara was earlier manipulated using AI to falsely show him promoting a gaming app ‘Aviator’. The same was debunked by Newschecker on July 15, 2024, and can be seen here.

Hence, the viral video showing Anant Ambani promoting gaming app was found to be manipulated using AI.
