A video showing a man in an Australian cricket jersey chanting pro-India slogans of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ at a stadium has gone viral on social media platforms, with users claiming it be from the recent India vs Australia ICC Champions Trophy game.

Multiple social media users shared the 14-second-long footage claiming it to show an Australian fan’s reaction after his team lost the Champions Trophy semi-final match to India. Newschecker, however, found the video to be old, and unrelated to the ongoing ICC tournament.
