Indigo Crisis: Old Video Of Aviation Minister Dancing Goes Viral As Recent

A video allegedly shows Union Minister of Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu dancing at an event while passengers suffer due to widespread flight delays and cancellations amid the ongoing Indigo crisis.

A keyword search for “Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu dancing” on YouTube led us to a video report by Prime9 News, dated July 30, 2025, which carried the same visuals of the Union minister dancing.

We also found a report by ETV Andhra Pradesh published on July 29, 2025, featuring a longer version of the video. The report stated that the Union minister was seen dancing during the wedding festivities of a relative.

Another report by ABN Telugu also featured Naidu’s viral dance video in July 2025, confirming that the footage is several months old.

Hence, the viral video of civil aviation minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu dancing is not recent. It is an old clip from a family wedding celebration in July 2025, misleadingly shared online amid the current Indigo crisis that began in December 2025.

Meanwhile, hours after he warned of exemplary action against Indigo for the recent chaos at airports, Naidu said the airline’s winter flight schedule will be curtailed and its slots given to other operators.  The DGCA has reportedly ordered IndiGo to reduce flights by 5 per cent. As IndiGo operates over 2,200 flights daily (full dataset of all carriers on Dataful here), around 115 flights are set to be reduced daily.  The move reportedly comes after the low-cost carrier witnessed over 4,200 flight cancellations in the past eight days, which are around 23 per cent of the daily flights the airline was scheduled to clock in December 2025.
