Old Video Of Netanyahu Rushing To Vote Shared As Israeli PM Fleeing To Bunker After Iran’s Missile Barrage

Claim

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu running to his security bunker after Iran had fired a barrage of missiles, the latest in a series of escalating attacks in a years-long conflict between Israel and Iran and its Arab allies that threatens to push the Middle East closer toward a region-wide war.

Fact

Newschecker ran a keyword search for “Netanyahu running bunker missiles”, which led us to a clearer version of the video, posted by Netanyahu’s official X handle on December 14, 2021, predating the recent firing.  “I am always proud to run for you.. It was taken half an hour ago in the Knesset,” read the post, translated from Hebrew.

We came across multiple news reports from December 2021, seen here and here, stating that he was rushing across the corridors to vote in the Knesset, which is the Israeli parliament, on a law that was passed by one vote.
