A Google reverse image search led us to a Facebook post by Times Now from October 1, 2025, featuring a longer version of the viral clip. The post stated that a flight delay at Goa airport had turned into a spontaneous Garba celebration with passengers and staff dancing inside the terminal.
An NDTV report dated September 30, 2025, also carried screengrabs from the same video. The report stated, “Surat-bound flight was scheduled to depart from Goa at 5 pm on Sunday evening. Passengers were looking forward to going to Surat and participating in Navratri festivities, particularly Garba. But the flight was delayed due to a technical issue…The flight attendant arranged for speakers, bringing everyone together for Garba. The video of people, including airline staff, dancing to folk songs, has gone viral.”

Mid Day had also shared the same video on Facebook on September 30, 2025, confirming that it predates the current situation.
