Newschecker conducted a reverse image search of key frames of the video on Google to ascertain its authenticity. We found that the video was uploaded on Youtube by a channel named Tinuod TV on April 15, 2021, with the caption ‘JUST IN, US NAVY WARSHIP is hovering in WEST PHILIPPINES. SEA…It’s going to be a fight’ when translated with Google translate.

The video was also shared on Tik Tok by a user, ‘military_aj’, on April 16, 2021, which can be seen with the help of a VPN.

Newschecker could not find the exact geographical location of the video, but can ascertain that it is not recent, but one that dates back to at least April 2021.
