Fact

A keyword search for “Pahalgam”, “terrorists” and “killed” on Google did not yield any credible reports or releases stating that all the terrorists involved in the April 2025 attack in Jammu and Kashmir were eliminated. The authorities have released the sketches of the three terrorists, which can be seen here.

We then looked up the keyframes of the viral clip on Google Lens  which led us to an X post by @DivasJangra, dated February 16, 2019. It carried the same video that is being widely shared to claim that the terrorists involved in the recent Pahalgam attack have been eliminated.

Another Facebook post from February 2019 carried a shorter version of the same video, confirming that it predates the Pahalgam terror attack of April 2025.

Further, we also found a YouTube post by @rakeshmehto785, dated December 10, 2018, carrying the viral video.

We were independently not able to ascertain other details about the video. However, it dates back to at least 2018 and is not linked to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives.

Hence, the viral posts claiming that the terrorists involved in Pahalgam attack have been eliminated were found to be false.
