Did Andhra Pradesh Govt Abolish Waqf Board? No, State Dissolved Existing Panel To Form A New One

Several users have taken to X to hail the N Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP government in Andhra Pradesh for purportedly abolishing the Waqf board. Newschecker, however, found that a government order dissolving the existing Waqf board to make way for a new one shared with a false claim that the Andhra Pradesh government has permanently abolished the Waqf board in the state. Viral Video Showing Bull Being Beaten To Death Is From Punjab, Not ISKCON’s Farm In Bangladesh As Claimed

Several social media users are circulating a video, purportedly showing four men beating a bull to death, claiming it to be from ISKCON’s farm in Bangladesh. The video has gone viral days after the controversial arrest of a monk, Chinmoy Krishna Das, linked to the Hindu organisation. Old Video Of Sufi Shrine Being Vandalised In Bangladesh Shared As Attack On Hindu Temple

Several social media users are circulating a 1-minute video, claiming it shows hundreds of Bangladeshi Muslims vandalising a Hindu temple amid reports of a rise in violent attacks against minorities in Bangladesh. US, Canada Have Not Banned Entry Of Amit Shah, Ajit Doval and Gautam Adani; False Claim Goes Viral

Several social media users are sharing a news item, purportedly from ‘Indian Herald’ and published on the news aggregator site Dailyhunt, claiming that the US and Canada have banned the entry of India’s home minister Amit Shah, national security advisor Ajit Doval and industrialist Gautam Adani over alleged “financial improprieties, human rights violations and espionage concerns.” However, the claim is false. 2022 Video Of Fight Over Land Linked To Recent Attacks Against Hindus In Bangladesh

Several social media users are sharing a video alleging to show Muslim men openly   assaulting Hindu women in Bangladesh. Newschecker, however, found that the video dates back to 2022, and shows a fight over a plot of land at  Banshbaria, Sitakunda, in Bangladesh’s Chittagong district, and is not linked to the recent attack on Hindus in the country.
